Medical centers of the Republic of Korea

A delegation of healthcare professionals from the Irkutsk region, headed by Health Minister O. N. Yaroshenko, from October 23 to 27, 2017, at the invitation of the provincial government of Kengi-do province, visited the country's largest medical centers.

The main doctors of the healthcare institutions of the Irkutsk region took part in the events.

As a result of the meetings, the Agreement on Health Cooperation was signed between the Department of Health and Social Protection of the Kengi-do Province and the Ministry of Health of the Irkutsk Region, as well as the Agreement between the Irkutsk Oblast Healthcare Institutions and the Medical Centers and Hospitals of the Kengi-do Province of the Republic of Korea.

Within the framework of the Agreement, it is planned to develop and support joint research projects, conduct scientific and practical conferences, symposiums, congresses in the field of health and medical education, conduct cycles of in-service training, internships, master classes for medical workers, conduct consultations, share experience in the implementation of new medical technologies, cooperation in the field of high-tech medical care for the population.
