Pulmonology department

The pulmonology department was organized in 1974. The department provides medical assistance to patients with various pathologies of respiratory organs (pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, sarcoidosis, disseminated processes in the lungs, bronchial asthma, etc.).

The pulmonology department is the clinical base of the Department of Hospital Therapy of the Irkutsk State Medical University (head of Prof. Orlov G.M.), where students, interns, residents are trained.
