Cardiac Surgery Department №1 (Adult patients)
We treat:
- coronary heart disease, including complications of myocardial infarction, such as left ventricular aneurysms, mitral valve ischemic dysfunction, and interventricular septal ruptures
- acquired heart defects
- congenital heart defects in persons over 16 years of age (septal defects, abnormal drainage of the pulmonary veins, atrioventricular communication, aortic coarctation, pulmonary artery stenosis)
- heart tumors and volume formations
- aneurysms and stratifications of the ascending aorta and the aortic arch
- cardiac arrhythmias and conduction disorders (bradyarrhythmias, ventricular tachycardia, prevention of sudden cardiac death) concomitant heart disease
Operations:
- coronary artery bypass surgery with artificial blood circulation
- coronary artery bypass grafting with a working heart (our department performs about 500 such operations per year, which allows us to be in second place in Russia in the number of operations performed) using this technique
- cosmetic surgery: minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass (MIDCAB) on a working heart, as well as endoscopic isolation of a large saphenous vein
- hybrid operations: minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass + coronary artery stenting
- combined operations of coronary bypass surgery and valve pathology correction
- surgical treatment of complications of myocardial infarction (plastic surgery of the left ventricular aneurysm, plastic interventricular septal rupture)
- heart valve prosthetics (implantation of biological and mechanical prostheses)
- reconstructive surgery on the heart valves
- repeated interventions for valvular defects
- simultaneous operations for the surgical treatment of heart and lung diseases
- auxiliary circulation - ECMO and IABP
- minimally invasive treatment of congenital heart defects in adults (ASD, pulmonary valve stenosis) by percutaneous methods
- transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI)
- implantation and replacement of pacemakers, cardioverter - defibrillators (single and double chamber)
- electrophysiological study and radio-frequency destruction of foci of tachycardia in heart rhythm disorders
